Peace Projections - Exhibition of Images

The Holographic Lounge Room Experience is pleased to collaborate with Interweave Arts, Streets Alive and members of community to participate in the inaugural Community Festival for Peace.

A MASSIVE scale exhibition of images related to peace will be projected onto the Telstra multi-storey building opposite Launceston Town Hall during the Community Festival for Peace each evening from 10 - 12 July. Projections will run all night.

Please join us for an evening flashmob picnic on the steps of Launceston Town Hall on Saturday 11 July at 6pm so we can enjoy the show together.

We will have a large coloured blanket spread on the Town Hall steps to keep you warm and invite you to bring a plate of food to share. BYO beverages in non glass containers please. A hot thermos would be perfect!

Projections run each evening (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) all night.

All are welcome to join the Flashmob evening picnic on Saturday 11 July at 6pm.

The Community Festival for Peace offers the community opportunities to define and share what PEACE means to them as individuals and organisations. ‘Peace’, in the context of this concept, is not only about the conflict of wars: it is about our behaviour as citizens of local communities and global societies. At a community level, the Festival aims to celebrate the roles of art, diversity, education and sport in building community cohesion and goodwill between people.

Please SHARE this event amongst your networks.

The Peace Projections is a full disability access event.
