The idea of peace seems to have lost its MOJO….the pie in the sky turned out to be way to high – according to Pink Floyd…

It was once a key idea in Launceston and many buildings have peace inscriptions literally carved on them…many active groups especially the Quakers.

We need to think carefully as a society how to rebuild the idea of peace as a philosophy of life….a key theme in many of Peter Underwood’s addresses…

The media tend to focus more on issues of violence and war rather than peace……how can and should the media play a role in promoting peace?
