Community Pop-Up Choir sing "The Same Sun"

Organisation: SingFest 2018, Department of Education

Target audience : General public
Turn up at venue [optionally with a student who has learnt song through school]

Event Type: Community Sing Event

Event Description: Singing is a communal activity that promotes togetherness and sharing. In modern life there are far too few events where we can sing with one another without shame or embarrassment. This aims to be one of those events.

Primary schools around the Tamar region have been learning this song in preparation for "SingFest 2018" and these students are invited to attend and sing at the venue to and with the audience.

The song is written by two local artists, Cameron Hindrum and Travis Hennessy, arranged by Composer Karlin Love. It is an anthem for peace.
