UTAS SEL Welcome Lounge project

Group /Organisation: UTAS Student Engagement team

Event: The UTAS Student Engagement Leaders team will run a series of activities within the Welcome Lounge area (near the Walk cafe and TUU on campus) to help celebrate the Tamar peace festival on campus.

What does peace mean to you?: This activity will be set up for the entire week. This activity asks students to respond to the question on a piece of butchers paper or similar.

Maps activity: Maps of Tasmania, Australia and the world up on a wall, and people put a sticker of where they are from - this signifies where students are from and coming together peacefully. This event will be run throughout the week.
