The Tamar Valley Peace Festival is launched for 2023

Wednesday 13th September at Mowbray Heights, the 2023 Tamar Valley Peace Festival was launched by Peace Trust chair, Donna Bain, to the friends and community of the Mowbray Heights retail area.

Businesses in the area embraced the Peace Festival theme of “connecting, sharing; pathways to peace” with such enthusiasm, decorating the area and writing messages of peace, it was fitting to launch the festival from that location.

Shoppers and visitors were entertained by Interweave and their Rainbow Healing Circles, while Pooja from Bollywood beats and dancers from First Class Support Services surprised the crowd with an impromptu Bollywood street performance..

The Tamar Valley Peace Festival runs from 17th - 23rd September, with some events extending through to the end of September and early October..
