Lecture explores the state of Australia Piia Wirsu 24th July 2016

Human rights advocate, author and barrister, Julian Burnside, is concerned about Australia’s direction and he's going to explain why in an upcoming lecture for the Tamar Valley Peace Festival.

“My assessment of the underlying character of Australia is that we are essentially decent people who do genuinely believe in the idea of a fair go and who would be disturbed by the idea of deliberate mistreatment of innocent human beings,” said Mr Burnside.
