Would you like to participate in the
Tamar Valley Peace Festival, 2024?
Currently the Peace Festival is in the planning phase and while registrations are not yet open, the registration page is available for viewing to help give our wonderful community event organisers time to plan details. Head HERE to the registration page.
Please don’t get concerned if the registration process looks overwhelming; we promise you it’s not difficult to tackle. We will be here to help once the registrations open to help you with any information you might need.
If you would like to take part in this year’s festival, but don’t want to run a public event there are several other ways to get involved.
Take part in the Peace Festival’s Peace Doves project or the “Peace begins with me”, peace wall promises. You can produce a group project with your business, your social or community group, your school, or with neighbours and friends. Download a template and simply make a promise to yourself of what peace means to you and display it prominently as a reminder of how you can bring peace to your daily life.
Of course a great way to be involved is to join in with some of the official events run by the Tamar Valley’s enthusiastic community members, who volunteer their time to make the Tamar Valley Peace Festival a success and spread the message of peace, healing, knowledge, fun and creativity with all.
2018 Peace Festival was awarded Community Event of the Year by City of Launceston Mayor, Albert van Zetten.
